Claudio Vanni, born in 1972, is an accomplished Italian actor with more than twenty-five years of experience in theatre, film, and television. He made his stage debut under the direction of Patrick Rossi Gastaldi in Mart Crowley’s The Boys in the Band and his big-screen debut in Claudio Fragasso’s La Banda. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with some of Italy’s most respected directors and actors, including Stefano Calvagna, Pierfrancesco Pingitore, Luciano Odorisio, Monica Guerritore, Augusto Fornari, Claudio Bonivento, Marco Filiberti, Arnaldo Catinari, Eros Puglielli, and Roberto Marafante.

Audiences internationally recognise him for his role as Titto Zaccardelli in the third season of Netflix’s Suburra and for his compelling stage performance in the Italian premiere of James Fritz’s award-winning play Four Minutes Twelve Seconds, directed by Giancarlo Nicoletti. His work also extends to international cinema, with appearances in projects such as Another Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig.

Beyond his artistic training, Vanni brings a unique depth to his roles thanks to his background as a military paratrooper and American football linebacker. These experiences instilled in him the discipline, strength, and mental focus that continue to shape his acting career. His physical preparation includes extensive training in martial arts, combining striking, grappling, and combat choreography specifically adapted for stage and screen. This allows him to execute complex fight sequences with precision, realism, and safety.

In addition, Vanni is certified and experienced in firearms handling, ranging from tactical sidearms to military-grade weaponry. His military knowledge ensures accurate, disciplined portrayals of law enforcement, military, and action characters. Combined with his stunt experience, these skills make him a versatile performer able to bring both intensity and authenticity to high-demand, action-driven roles.

Today, Claudio Vanni continues to pursue his passion for storytelling through theatre and film, embodying characters with charisma, discipline, and a rare balance of physicality and artistry.
